The company deals in real estate and commercial agriculture including value addition. The company owns residential housing and apartment units as well as office blocks in Bugolobi and Mutungo in Nakawa Division as well as Lubowa in Makindye-Ssabagabo Municipality in Wakiso District. In addition, the company is developing other real estate properties in Mbarara City (Western Uganda). In addition, Global Pearl Services Limited holds 50% equity in FARMERCO where we are jointly setting up an ethanol plant in Western Uganda.
The company deals in real estate, hospitality and commercial agriculture including value addition. The company owns residential housing and apartment units as well as office blocks in the upscale suburb of Kololo (Central Division), Bugolobi and Mutungo in Nakawa Division as well as Lubowa in Makindye-Ssabagabo Municipality in Wakiso District. In addition, the company is developing other real estate properties in Mbarara City (Western Uganda). The company is currently involved in the development of a High-End Ecolodge in one of the natural forests in Western Uganda – Kalinzu Forest, which is the tourist destination for Uganda. In addition, Global Pearl Services Limited holds 50% equity in FARMERCO where we are jointly setting up an ethanol plant in Western Uganda.
Kenneth Mugambe is an accomplished Economist with 30 years working experience in the Ministry of Finance of the Government of Uganda where he served for ten years as the Director of the National Budget. He took early retirement in January 2022 to pursue a career in the private sector. In addition to his day-to-day work for the company, he is pursuing a PhD in Economics at the Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth, Republic of South Africa.
